We're Expanding Pediatric Mental Health Access: Welcome Baby Jimerson to Our Team!
|
We are excited to announce a new partnership with the Maryland Behavioral Health Integration in Pediatric Primary Care (MD BHIPP) Internship Program and Frostburg State University to bring dedicated, no-cost behavioral health support to our clinic. Through this initiative, supported by the Maryland Department of Health, we are helping improve pediatric mental health access in our community by providing free Behavioral & Mental Health Care for Kids and Teens. Starting 9/1, you can schedule visits with our new intern provider, Baby Jimerson, for any initial or ongoing behavioral or mental health concerns. All visits with Baby are completely free of charge. Baby Jimerson is currently pursuing her M.S. in Counseling Psychology at Frostburg State University, where she also earned her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She is deeply passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families, with a special focus on trauma-informed care and emotional well-being. Outside of her clinical work, Baby enjoys spending time with her animals, family, and friends, as well as traveling, staying active, and exploring creative projects.

If you feel you need to speak specifically with our nurse triage, please call any of the office numbers to reach them.
WALK IN HOURS:
We have a walk-in hours Monday thru Friday from 8 to 8:30 am for established patients who have an acute, urgent illness such as: runny nose, cough, ear pain, rash, sore throat, pink eye, etc. The walk-in clinic is not intended for issues or illnesses of one week or longer, rechecks, follow-ups, behavioral, chronic and/or wellness concerns.
If overcrowding occurs during walk-ins we may need to schedule an appointment for you for later in the day.
